Another meeting full of FOSSILS...

This meeting we set out to learn about

all the different kinds of fossils 

that are out there.

Thank you so much to our little member

all the way to the right.... for bringing 

in her own personal collection of fossils

and GUEST SPEAKERS to our meeting.

Bringing the fossils to the children has been exactly what 

we've been looking for!

Sending out a thank you to all my friends

that participate in this club!

At the beginning of our meeting, fossilization meant to them that...

 "the animal dies.... then becomes a fossil"

With a little hands-on demonstration 

and a more in-depth explanation given

to fill in the missing middle process.....

By the end of the meeting..... fossilization meant.....

 TOYS!!!   

Today's meeting had so much 

energy and enthusiasm....

It was a blast!

Thanks again to everyone for all your help.

And a special THANK YOU to another one of our Dino Members

  for showing all of us an actual dinosaur tooth fossil.

The first meeting today covered the dinosaur basics.

From names and sizes

to the real definition of a dinosaur.

We also learned how the 

rock cycle works.

Here is a shot of our little dinosaur terrariums,

showing the rock cycle below our dinosaur nests.

This was an AWESOME time for all!!!
